To help you get ready, we've compiled a detailed list of the essential equipment you'll need to bring, along with information about hiring options available through our MarketLife portal. Remember, unless specified otherwise in your event application, you are responsible for supplying all your setup equipment.

Basic Equipment Checklist

Gazebo (3m x 3m): A sturdy gazebo is a must-have for any outdoor location to shield your stall from the elements. Make sure it’s in good condition and easy to assemble.

Weights: Weights are essential for securing your gazebo, especially in windy conditions. Sandbags, water weights, or other heavy items will help anchor your setup safely.

Tables: Tables are necessary for displaying your products. Folding tables are particularly convenient for transport and setup. A floor-length tablecloth is required for our Perth Upmarket events and is highly recommended for all events to enhance the appearance of your stall.

Chairs: Ensure your comfort throughout the event by bringing your own seating.

Display Units: Shelving, racks, or stands can significantly enhance the presentation of your products, making your stall more attractive to customers.

Signage: Clear, attractive signage is key to drawing attention to your stall and effectively communicating your brand.

Lighting: For evening markets, portable battery-operated lighting is essential to make your stall stand out and ensure your products are easily visible to customers.

Cash Handling Supplies: Bring a cash box, float, and any necessary electronic payment devices to handle transactions smoothly.

Hiring Options Available

For our Perth Makers Market and Perth Upmarket events, we offer the option to hire trestle tables for a fee. When applying for the event through our MarketLife portal, you can select this option if it's available. If equipment hire is not listed in the event application, it means it is not available for that particular event.
