A Little Taste of Paris at Markets @ The Quay: Swan Valley Crêpes

If you’ve ever wandered the streets of Paris and been drawn in by the scent of warm butter and freshly made crêpes, you’ll understand the magic Swan Valley Crêpes brings to every event they attend.
On Saturday 14 March, from 3pm to 8pm, Swan Valley Crêpes will be joining us at Markets @ The Quay: Endless Summer at Elizabeth Quay, serving up delicate, golden crêpes made fresh to order in the heart of the city.
For the team behind Swan Valley Crêpes, the journey began with a love for travel and a deep appreciation for authentic French street food. After years of visiting Paris and enjoying traditional crêpes from charming street-side crêperies, they knew they wanted to bring that same experience home to Perth.
“We wanted to share a little taste of France and recreate that feeling,” they explain. “There’s something special about watching your crêpe being made fresh in front of you. It’s simple, nostalgic and brings people together.”

Mastered at their market stall in the Swan Valley, their crêpe batter is made from scratch using quality local ingredients. Their authentic French recipe has been carefully refined to achieve that delicate, golden finish and light texture that makes a true crêpe so memorable.
Each crêpe is prepared fresh to order. The batter is poured, spread thin, and cooked to perfection before being filled and folded right before your eyes. It’s a small performance in itself, and part of what makes visiting their stall such a treat.
Customer feedback has played a huge role in shaping their business. Returning smiles, kind words and families coming back time and time again are what keep the team motivated. Every interaction inspires them to refine their recipes, elevate their service and continue delivering the best possible experience.

Swan Valley Crêpes is owned and operated by a small team of three, each bringing their own strengths to the business. Like many small food businesses, one of their biggest challenges has been finding the right people to join their team.
“Finding staff who share the same vision and passion has been our biggest challenge,” they say. “We believe the right people make all the difference. It’s important to us that every team member genuinely cares about creating memorable experiences and takes pride in every crêpe they serve.”
That commitment to quality extends beyond the food itself. All of their packaging is eco-friendly, using disposable materials that are better for the environment. It’s a simple but important step in running a responsible mobile food business.

Markets @ The Quay is one of their favourite events to attend. The central Elizabeth Quay location, the mix of families, friends and visitors, and the vibrant atmosphere that builds from afternoon into evening all make it a special place to serve.
They love that the market caters for everyone. Whether you’re stopping by after work, bringing the kids down for an afternoon outing, or meeting friends to enjoy the sunset by the water, there’s something about the energy of the Quay that makes every event feel memorable.
If you haven’t tried a traditional French crêpe before, this is your sign. Whether you prefer something sweet and indulgent or simple and classic, there’s nothing quite like enjoying a warm crêpe as the sun sets over the city skyline.

Looking ahead, the team has a clear goal in mind: to open a permanent crêpe store in Perth. A dedicated space where customers can enjoy authentic French crêpes year-round is something they’re working steadily towards.
For now, you can find them at Markets @ The Quay: Endless Summer on Saturday 14 March from 3pm to 8pm at Elizabeth Quay.
Come down, watch your crêpe being made fresh, and enjoy a little taste of France right here in Perth.
