Applecross Rotary Jacaranda Festival

The Rotary Jacaranda Festival is a celebration of all things 'community' something at that is at the heart of the work done by the Applecross Rotary as a Club throughout the year.

We look forward to building on the success of previous years with some 150 stalls, a unique line-up of entertainment featuring even more for families and kids, and that buzz of excitement made possible when thousands of people come together.

Entry is always free - although donations are encouraged (card facilities available) and Applecross Rotary reinvest any funds raised in dozens of local groups and initiatives over the coming year.

In order to participate in the Rotary Jacaranda Festival we require that you understand and agree to comply with the following conditions:

* you will need to supply a Certificate of Currency for public insurance liability (min $10m);
* Mobile Food Businesses or Temporary Food Businesses must provide the 'Registration of Food Business and Trading in Public Places Licence' and food handling training certificates;
* structures must not exceed 3m x 3m and any shade overlap must be above 2m in height;
* all structures must be fully secured with weights on each leg, firmly attached;
* any electrical cords must be appropriately covered in all pedestrian areas;
* electrical leads must be tested and tagged within the last six months by a licensed electrical contractor;
* we are unable to provide power to any vendors - if you are a food vendor requiring power you must provide your own generator;
* own-power source generators must be sanctioned by the organising committee and have current certification and an approved, certified fire extinguisher must be provided.
